Alejandro Serrano is a copywriter, musician, and martial artist who shares the Dharma in his spare time. For more than 15 years he has dedicated himself to the cultivation of healthy habits, the study and practice of Buddhadharma and Buddhist meditation.
He was a student and direct translator of Lama Yeshe Nyima in Mexico and is currently a disciple of the Buddhist teacher Lopön Jigme Rinpoche. He has received empowerments from the Kagyu, Sakya and Nyingma traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. The method that Alejandro teaches (Active Dharma Practice) is a synthesis of what he has learned from addiction recovery programs, psychoanalysis, Pali Canon sermons and his practice of Buddhist Tantra.
He currently lives in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, with his wife, dogs and cats.
